As a young adult, I realized that counseling would be an amazing way for me to work with people as they face difficulties in life. I attended Grand Valley State University where I received my Bachelor’s degree in psychology and later the University of Phoenix where I received my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling.
Currently, I work with ages 10 and up. I am passionate about helping people develop self-love and confidence as they manage their mental health. As a therapist, I strive to provide a welcoming and safe environment that is nonjudgmental. I look forward to meeting with you and congratulations on choosing therapy and deciding to work on you.

Life is hard. We live in a world of uncertainties, which collectively have caused us to all feel emotions and fears that are hard to explain. And while we understand that humanity is suffering, it is also vital to address the individuality within that collective unit. Each of us have our own unique struggles. It is my belief that every person deserves to have a safe space to process their own emotions. As a counselor I am called to serve and work within my community to create an environment that allows for all people to feel seen, heard, and validated. I have experience working with adults, teenagers, and young children.
Despite the difficulties that may be present in your life, we can work together to encourage development of sustainable skills and healthy outcomes. My goal as a clinician is not to “fix” anyone or any problem, but rather to encourage insight and awareness on how to be the healthiest version of who a person is created to be.
There is nothing easy about navigating the world we live in while trying to heal childhood trauma, effectively communicate with others, find our passions in life, build healthy relationships, AND drink enough water… It’s exhausting!
